This is a very interesting fossil flower from the Eocene of British Columbia. Flowers are very rare in the fossil record because of their delicate nature. This is a very unusual fossil flower. It is the only flower that we have ever seen of this type. The specimen has good color and contrast. It is well centered on the matrix plate. This is a very displayable fossil flower from an obscure location.
