This is a rare Amphiplaga bracyptera from the Green River Formation of Wyoming. Only a handful of these specimens are found each year. This specimen is well centered on a rectangular slab of matrix. It has great natural, dark brown color and contrasts nicely with the cream-colored matrix. The specimen has excellent detail. The bone structure is very nice. The fins are well displayed. This is a very aesthetic specimen of a rare fossil fish from Wyoming.
