This is a fantastic, unidentified fossil plant from the Cretaceous of Brazil. The fossil is very large and well positioned on the natural plate of matrix. The central stem displays many branches. The plant exhibits a very unique scale pattern with incredible detail. This unusual flora has terrific dark orangish-brown color and contrasts nicely with the lighter colored matrix. This is a very displayable fossil plant from the time of the dinosaurs.
