This is a very nice specimen of Leguminosites lesquereuxiana from the Eocene of Utah. The leaf has very fine color and contrast. It is centered on a semi-squared slab of matrix. The heart-shaped leaf has the entire margins intact. The emarginate apex is clearly defined. The venation of the leaf is visible to the naked eye. It has a very short, complete petiole attached. There is also a specimen of Mimosites on the back side of the matrix plate. This is a great specimen of Leguminosites from the Green River Formation.
