Here is an uncommon leaf from the Green River Formation. This is a nice specimen of Prunus stewarti. The leaf has good color and great contrast. The very fine tip of the leaf is present. The venation is quite evident. A long petiole is attached to the leaf. The fossil is well centered on a squared block of shale. This is a fine example of this unusual species from the Eocene of Utah.
